Hi Folks!

Thank you for your interest in the White Pass Ski Patrol.  We will be holding ski tryouts on January 12, 2008.  Please report to the east end of the mezzanine, upstairs in the Day Lodge at White Pass, at 9:00 am.  We will take care of some paper work and review the requirements for becoming a patroller.  More information can be found by clicking on this link.   

After we have completed the orientation session, we will ski a variety of terrain and snow conditions to evaluate your skiing or boarding skills.  We will let you know by the end of the day if you have been selected to move forward with training.  Successful applicants will then begin skiing and toboggan training beginning in late February and continuing on for the balance of the ski season.

Please bring your seasons pass if you have one.  If you do not have a pass, we will provide lift tickets - send me a return email so we can arrange to have a ticket available.

We recognize there may be conflicts with the January 12 evaluation date, and are considering another date in February.  If you cannot attend the tryouts on January 12, please send an email to john_b_haworth@msn.com.  We will review the level of interest for another date, and we may be able to make other arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
